Do you have a question? The Sight-O team is here to answer you. Below you will find instructions on how to make the best use of our method at Sight-reading.
The method
All orchestral instruments (except Harp and Percussion), Piano and Guitar.
Musical Training will be available soon.
About 10,000 exercises. The number of exercises varies depending on the instrument selected.
The method is purposely and precisely classified:
- Choose your program.
- Read about the topics covered in the parts.
- Look at the difficulties in the series and choose the one that interests you.
- A series has between 6 and 8 exercises classified according to their difficulty.
Ideally, if you have the time, you should do all the exercises in the series "in one go", as each series contains a theme.
If you work regularly for 10 to 15 minutes a day and 3 to 4 times a week, you will see progress within the first month.
It all depends on your objectives:
- You can use Sight-O for a few months (to prepare for a deadline, a competition for example)
- Over a full year to bring you up to speed
- No time limit to accompany a music school/conservatory course or simply to keep up to date
Music is like sport. You have to practice to keep the rhythm!
Reproduction of the exercises in the method, by any means whatsoever, is strictly forbidden.
Furthermore, the main interest of the method lies in the use of the cache.
Access to the method
It is very simple! Click on Sign up/Register. If you do not have an account, you can create one by clicking on "Register".
You will be able to test the method for 7 days (without limit in the number of exercises and in the choice of instruments). If you are satisfied, you can start your monthly or annual subscription.
After filling in your profile, select the instrument you wish to practice. Choose your programme, your part, your series and then your exercise. All you have to do is...Sight-read !
We advise you to start with the initiation programme, even if you have a good level. This will allow you to get used to moving the cache.
On your Mac/Ipad: use theSafari browser.
On PCs and Tablets (non-Apple): it is best to go toGoogle Chrome.
Selecting the appropriate browser will allow you to use the application to its fullest.
Means of payment
- Visa, MasterCard and American Express are accepted.
- Payments are secured by the most advanced protocols of our payment provider Stripe.
We only accept transfers from local authorities/music schools.
Of course we do! Our number one objective: to help you progress. You will be able to see the effectiveness of the method by testing it for 7 days. During this trial period, there are no restrictions on the number of exercises or the choice of instrument.
We wanted to offer you simple and clear solutions.
- Are you planning to use Sight-O over several months or years?
Don't take out your credit card: Monthly and annual subscriptions are automatically renewed.
- Do you want to stop your subscription? Are you planning to use Sight-O for just one month, for a deadline or because you are already an expert at Sight-reading ?
No problem: go to "My Account" and then "My Subscription" before the end of the month already paid. Just click on "Unsubscribe" and follow the instructions.
Account settings
On the Sign up window click on "I forgot my password" and follow the instructions

Microphone setup
When you start your first exercise, a window appears asking you for access to the microphone. Just click on authorize.

This microphone problem is probably due to the permissions your computer has granted to the browser you were using (in this case for Sight-O, Chrome). Here's how to control microphone use by Microsoft Store applications.
- Go to start > settings > privacy > microphone.
- Choose your preferred setting for allowing applications to access your microphone.
- Under choosing which applications can access your microphone, enable or disable the settings for each application and service.
