A method as effective as Sight-O would be nothing without a team dedicated to helping you progress.
The result of 40 years of teaching
Sight-O is the result of more than forty years of development and practical testing directly with Pierre Boutin 's students. The aim of this method of Sight-reading was to bring back to level as quickly as possible students with difficulties in reading scores on the instrument. Pierre received instrumentalists from all over the world and from the most prestigious training institutions. These include the CNSMD and CRR in Paris, the CNSMD in Lyon and the Schola Cantorum.
Le Cache: a proven pedagogy
Hiding a note or a group of notes to encourage better reading in advance is a method that has existed for centuries. This "constraint" greatly helps to re-educate the eye's movement and to stabilise its stress when faced with a new score. Thanks to the Sight-O Cache, become an unbeatable sight reader!
An educational project supervised by 14 teachers
Sight-O has more than 10,000 original exercises, specially written for learning the Sight-reading. All the exercises were written in consultation with 14 leading teachers who hold a Certificate of Proficiency in their instrument.
